Civil rights attorney Adele Nicholas will be the keynote speaker at ACSOL’s third annual conference to be held on June 14 and June 15 in Los Angeles. Nicholas has represented the rights of registrants in multiple lawsuits challenging residency restrictions, access to public places and hospital visitations in Illinois and neighboring states in the Great Lakes region.
“We are delighted that Ms. Nicholas has agreed to be the keynote speaker at this year’s conference,” stated ACSOL Executive Director Janice Bellucci. “She is a dedicated and effective civil rights attorney who understands that registrants’ rights are being violated on a daily basis.”
The ACSOL conference will be held for the third year at Southwestern Law School, 3050 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, starting on Friday, June 14 at 9 a.m. and ending Saturday, June 15 at 5 p.m. Similar to past conferences, this year’s conference will include panels that help both registrants and their loved ones successfully face daily challenges.
Featured speakers at this year’s conference will include Guy Hamilton-Smith who has completed law school but been denied the opportunity to practice law in the state of Kentucky as well as ACSOL Executive Director Janice Bellucci. In addition, the conference will include for the first time a forum in which registrants and loved ones can ask questions and receive answers from attorneys and psychologists.

Before Adele cities were in a panic to out implement each other. After several lawsuits many were in a panic to reduce restrictions.
